Pre-Order Period has now closed! Tomorrow's the event!

As of 10:00 p.m. CST, the pre-ordering period for tickets and t-shirts for Can't Stop the Serenity: Iowa 2008 has closed.

Please pick up your tickets at the door. If you've pre-ordered, please have an ID ready!

You can also buy tickets at the door for $12, and t-shirts for $15.

But please keep in mind, we only have SIX small t-shirts left, and only ONE OF EACH of 3XL and 4XL shirts. They're going fast! The shirts run a little large, but they are 100% cotton and may shrink a bit in the wash.

Also try to bring something to the potluck!

Twelve hours until the doors open!

We'll see you there!

FINAL DAY TO PRE-ORDER TICKETS.

Can't Stop the Serenity starts tomorrow, guys, which means that today is the last day you can pre-order tickets!

You can pick up tickets at the door for $12 if you'd rather wait until tomorrow.

We'll close ticket sales tonight at 10:00pm CST.

We're also running low on some sizes of shirts! We've only got one each left of 3XL and 4XL sizes.

See you tomorrow!

Can't Stop the Serenity NOT AFFECTED by flooding.

Fleur Drive is open again, so it shouldn't be terribly difficult to get to the theatre.

At this point, NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, we're still having the event!

Our after-party site is also doing well and has not been affected by the flooding.

See you on Saturday!

Items needed for the potluck

Though it's been quite a bit longer than half a day since I said I would post this, we did have a lot of people offering to bring items, so I had to keep updating the list.

Anyway, here's a list of things we need to make the potluck happen! Please try to bring at least one item (even if it's not on the list), and remember that you can keep things in a cooler if they need to be cooled off, and we'll be able to use a grill. Comment or email me if you're bringing something on this list, and I'll cross it off.

Items needed for the potluck
Lemonade
Water
Coffee (and containers to hold these)
Condiments (Ketchup, BBQ sauce, mustard, etc)
At least a couple different kinds of casserole
Chips and dip
Cookies
Dessert foods
Lettuce salad
Fruit salad?
Potato salad
Coleslaw
Buns for hamburgers and hotdogs
Bread
Sliced meats and cheeses
Napkins/plates/plastic silverware

Only about a month now, folks! I look forward to seeing everyone!

Anonymous commenting enabled; donate to CSTS!

I just recently realized that anonymous commenting was disabled. I'm so sorry! This has been reactivated, so you can post comments here now.

Also, if you can't make it to Iowa's CSTS event but still want to help out (or if you are coming and want to help out even more), you can now donate to Can't Stop the Serenity: Des Moines!

There will be a list of what we need (food-wise) for the potluck at the after-party, later tonight.

Thanks, and keep flyin'!

Tickets available soon!

Don't worry, the links for ordering will be up VERY SHORTLY.

Also, we have a confirmed site for our after-party! Ewing North Open Shelter House, at 5300 Indianola Rd, is a gorgeous area that will provide us with a great space to hold the after-party, eat food, and play games.

We ARE planning on having a Potluck Lunch, and we need your help! We need to know who can bring food: what kind, how much, things of that sort. We're anticipating anywhere from 150-200 guests this year, so we'd like to have as many people as possible helping out! Please comment here if you're interested in providing food for the event.
